Being someone that has wanted to live a healthy life but somehow never did, decided I wanted to watch Super Size Me. It's a movie where a guy eats McDonald's for 30 days, he eats it for every meal. In 30 days he goes from a pretty fit heathly person to one who gains 24 pounds, his liver gets very sick, he starts fighting bouts of depression, and gets severe headaches. I must say that this film has opened my eyes and I think I can safely say changed my life. I will no longer eat fast food after watching this movie. I recommend it for everyone.

Also, I enjoyed the deleted scene where he sets all the McSandwichs in a seperate glass jars along with a sandwich from a regular place and fries from a regular restaurant and fries from McDonalds. Overa course of 3 month everything decomposses pretty gross like, but the McFries look like they still just came out of the fryer. Very sick indeed.

Didn't the guy make the movie to prove that he could eat McDonalds and remain healthy?

The premise for that movie was so stupid I never gave it another thought. Now it does sound interesting, I'll check it out...

I dont eat as much "fast food" as I used to, but I still do eat it.
The movie isnt a fair assesment of anything. Anyone who eats any fast food (not including salads and grilled items) is gonna face health issues due to the nature of what you are eating. There is no balance. No full (unfried) servings of fruits or veggies. It is merely an extremeist view of why someone shouldnt eat fast food three meals a day for a month. I think common sense should tell you not to eat fast food three meals a day for a month. I have heard that it is interesting, but I kinda think that the premise itself is just a set up of the fast food industry in an extreme and probably very uncommon scenario,

Glad you liked it though, and as I have read through your posts it sounds like the healthier lifestyle is doing you well.

Having six kids and only one income, we VERY RARELY ate out & when we did, it wasn't at a "fast food" place. Still, I became fat over the years. I wonder if having five kids in less than 6 /2 years & following it up with a sixth kid 3 l/2 years after the fifth had ANYTHING to do with it?????? That is the thing Greg, he over the course of his adventure starts to even eat the salads, but eating a grilled chicken salad of McDonald's is like eating a a big mac.

He was actually trying to see if there was any claim to people suing the fast food industry.
